Built for mechanical engineers and HVAC designers who want more than software skills, this program develops complete BIM professionals capable of working at both consultant and contractor levels on international projects. Across four structured levels aligned with ASHRAE, CIBSE and ISO 19650, you progress from BIM foundations and AutoCAD drafting through advanced HVAC modeling, heat load and energy analysis, LOD 400 fabrication-ready ductwork, multi-discipline coordination, and a live capstone on real international projects. Hands-on training covers Revit MEP, Revit Fabrication, Autodesk Insight, Navisworks clash detection, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) collaboration, and Dynamo automation — preparing you for global AEC delivery.

  • Level 1 is your foundational launchpad into design engineering and Building Information Modeling, equipping you with essential Revit skills for international projects. You'll master project setup including levels, grids, units, and snap settings, then advance into architectural modeling with system and component families, materials, solar studies, Toposolid, and conceptual massing. Multi-dimensional visualization through plans, sections, elevations, walkthroughs, rendering, and 3D views builds professional-grade presentation skills from day one.
  • Beyond modeling, you'll create custom parametric families for intelligent modeling and schedule extraction. Full MEPF system modeling across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting is covered alongside collaborative workflows including linking, worksharing, worksets, and cloud collaboration. Advanced Engineering Drafting

  • Level 2 builds your proficiency in AutoCAD — the global standard for 2D engineering drawing — equipping you to confidently produce, read, and work with drawings across international mechanical engineering projects. You will master the AutoCAD interface, precision drafting tools, layering, object snaps, XREF management, and customized layouts for large-scale projects, alongside blocks, attributes, and isometric representation of mechanical piping and ductwork.

Advanced HVAC Engineering Design
30 Hrs Project Oriented Sessions 10 Hrs Practice Sprint
  • Level 3 moves you beyond modeling into core mechanical engineering design, equipping you with the technical knowledge that separates a Design Engineer from just a Modeler. You will study HVAC system types in depth including VRV/VRF, chilled water, DX, and packaged systems, apply international design regulations including ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, and DW/143 standards, and perform heat load calculations using HAP and E20 software, cooling load estimation, and preparation of structured load schedules.
  • The level then progresses into advanced design deliverables, including air terminal selection and sizing, duct design with single-line and double-line diagrams, chilled water system design and pipe sizing, VRV/VRF system sizing and selection, ventilation design for kitchens, toilets, car parking, and smoke extraction. Underfloor heating principles, psychrometric analysis, and equipment selection are covered through worked examples on live international projects, giving you the complete HVAC design competency required to work independently at senior design engineer level across global AEC organizations.
Mastering BIM and Collaboration
80 Hrs Project Oriented Sessions 50 Hrs Practice Sprint
  • Level 4 takes you deep into advanced BIM skills, international standards, and collaboration workflows demanded by leading global consultants and contractors. You will master BIM Execution Plan (BEP) development, ISO 19650 information management, RIBA Stages, and LOD/LOI frameworks governing model deliverables across design and construction phases. Advanced mechanical modelling progresses from LOD 200 through LOD 500, covering HVAC ducting and piping, chilled water systems, ventilation, smoke extraction, and BMS integration, with strong emphasis on clash-free coordination, federated model management, and QA/QC checking against international benchmarks.
  • You will gain practical experience in ACC, Navisworks for cross-discipline coordination, clash detection, and multi-stakeholder review workflows. Additional competencies include 4D scheduling, 5D cost integration, Dynamo automation, IFC and COBie open-BIM interoperability, and Scan-to-BIM workflows for LOD 400–500 progression. By completion, you will independently manage a mechanical BIM discipline, deliver federated models, and produce compliance documentation senior clients expect.
